Biography

Meet our 30years fitness guru – Khadija.

Khadija’s passion in fitness drives her to help others bring a deeper sense of balance and ease by connecting their body and spirit. She believes that movement is something that should be felt emotionally as well as physically.

She’s been involved in fitness for 3 decades with a background of ballet, gymnastic, athletics, and a professional handball player. Her first experience in Yoga and Pilates started 25years ago.

Khadi will take you through Pilates-based, Mat, Barre fusion or Reformer workouts that will target your entire body. Get ready to feel the burn, sweat, and fun as you rock this challenge with her!

Aside from Pilates, she’s also passionate in teaching Yoga. She is known for her authentic, non-judgmental teaching style and compassion-centered philosophy. Availing herself to continue philosophical education from various spiritual disciplines.

Khadija found yoga in search of healing and inner peace. Since she’s an avid runner and former athlete, she also enjoyed the physical and mental challenge it presented. Through the connection of body and spirit, she realized her practice would be a lifelong journey and an inspiration for living.

She completed her 200 hours Sivananda training, 500 ERYT hour advanced training in Yoga Therapy and 500 ERYT hour with Sri Dharma Mittra in addition to uncountable workshops.

Khadija teaches all ages (from 11-80+), skill levels, sizes, and accommodate each student with different options to challenge their own edge; this includes students with back pain, scoliosis, diabetes, and heart problems.

Her classes are challenging, yet carefully sequenced with attention to alignment and blended with her love of music. She aims to create a supportive and playful environment where students can expand their awareness and explore.
